Create Holiday Sections in the Memories in iPhone Photos
The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 7 Plus in iOS 10.3.1. Your iPhone will determine which holidays to include in the Memories section based on your home country. You can get to the Memories section of the Photos app by tapping the Memories tab at the bottom of the Photos app. Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Step 2: Scroll down and select the Photos & Camera section of the menu.
Step 3: Scroll down and tap the button to the right of Show Holiday Events. You will know that it is turned on when there is green heading around the button. I have enabled the holiday option in the Photos app in the section below.
Note that you will need to have pictures on your iPhone that were taken on a holiday date for them to appear as separate sections on the Memories tab. If you did not take any pictures on a holiday then that holiday will not be listed. Do you find the shutter sound on your camera to be distracting or unwanted when you are taking pictures?
